1000V DC SPD
1000 V DC SPDs protect rooftop and small ground-mounted solar PV systems whose string open-circuit voltage stays below 1000 V DC — the majority of commercial and industrial rooftop plants in India. Installed at the string combiner box and at the inverter DC input, they use a Y-configuration MOV stack with DC-rated thermal disconnection and no follow current. LPES manufactures 2P and 3P 1000 V DC SPDs tested to IEC 61643-31 (Type 2, 20/40 kA) with remote-signalling contacts.
