Single Phase Type 2 SPD
Single-phase Type 2 SPDs protect 230 V AC circuits in residential DBs, small commercial panels, telecom shelters, CCTV and access-control cabinets and single-phase machine controls. Supplied as 1P+N or 2P DIN-rail modules with pluggable cartridges, thermal disconnection and a visual end-of-life indicator, they are tested to IEC 61643-11 with the 8/20 µs wave at nominal discharge currents of 20 kA to 40 kA. LPES manufactures single-phase Type 2 SPDs with remote-signalling contacts for monitored installations.
