ESE Lightning Arrester
An Early Streamer Emission (ESE) lightning arrester launches an upward leader earlier than a conventional rod, extending its protection radius to cover large open areas — tank farms, solar parks, stadiums, warehouses and campuses — from a single mast. LPES ESE terminals are tested to NF C 17-102:2011 with advance times of 30 µs to 60 µs, giving protection radii up to 107 m at Level IV, and are supplied with stainless-steel masts, bases, down-conductor kits and lightning strike counters, with sizing to IEC 62305-2 risk assessment.
