Stainless Steel Earthing Electrode
Stainless-steel earth rods are chosen where galvanic corrosion between copper electrodes and buried steel (pipelines, rebar, tank bottoms, sheet piling) must be avoided, and in aggressive coastal, marshy or chemically contaminated soils where copper and GI degrade quickly. LPES manufactures AISI 304 and 316 stainless-steel rods in 16 mm, 20 mm and 25 mm diameters and 1.2 m to 3 m lengths, threaded with stainless couplers and driving heads, meeting IEC 62561-2 and IS 3043, for ports, refineries, fertiliser plants and pipeline cathodic-protection systems.
