GI Earthing Electrode
Hot-dip galvanised (GI) earthing electrodes are the economical standard for pipe earthing, rod earthing and equipment earthing across Indian industrial plants, substations, transformer yards and residential projects, and are the electrode type most Indian tender specifications still reference. LPES manufactures GI pipe electrodes (40–100 mm NB) and GI rod electrodes (16–32 mm) in 2 m to 3 m lengths with zinc coating to IS 2629 and IS 4736, complete with GI strip tails, funnel and earth pit accessories per IS 3043 Fig. 3 and Fig. 4.
