RF / Antenna SPD
RF antenna SPDs sit in the coaxial feeder between a rooftop or tower-mounted antenna and the radio equipment it serves — GSM/LTE base stations, microwave links, GPS receivers, VHF/UHF radios and Wi-Fi bridges — diverting lightning current picked up by the antenna before it reaches the transceiver. LPES supplies N-type, DIN 7/16 and SMA gas-discharge and quarter-wave stub protectors with 50 Ω impedance and low VSWR from DC to 6 GHz, tested to IEC 61643-21, for telecom towers, broadcast sites and railway signalling.
