Aluminium Round Conductor
Aluminium round conductors offer a lightweight, corrosion-resistant and cost-effective down-conductor for lightning protection on aluminium-clad roofs, metal sheeting and structures where copper would cause galvanic corrosion or attract theft. LPES supplies 8 mm and 10 mm aluminium round conductors with cross-sections to IEC 62305-3, used with aluminium or bimetallic clamps and holders; aluminium is kept above ground level and transitioned to copper or GI with bimetallic connectors before entering the earthing system.
