Lightning Strike Counter
A lightning strike counter is clamped onto the down conductor of an ESE or conventional LPS to record every discharge that passes through it, giving facility managers and insurers proof of strikes and a trigger for the post-strike inspection required by IEC 62305-3 clause E.7. LPES supplies electromechanical counters that need no battery or power supply, with 6-digit non-resettable displays, IP67 housings, 1 kA minimum trigger current and up to 100 kA (10/350 µs) withstand, plus remote-monitoring versions with a volt-free contact for BMS and SCADA integration.
