PV Combiner Box
A PV combiner box (string combiner box or SCB) parallels several PV strings into one DC output to the inverter, and is the natural location for string fuses, DC isolator, DC surge protection and monitoring. LPES supplies factory-wired combiner boxes from 2-in-1-out to 32-in-1-out for 1000 V and 1500 V DC systems, in IP65/IP66 polycarbonate, GRP or powder-coated steel enclosures, built to IEC 62548 and IEC 61439-2 with gPV fuses, DC isolators, Type 1+2 or Type 2 DC SPDs and optional string-current monitoring for rooftop, ground-mounted and floating solar plants.
