Earth Testing Instruments
Earth testing instruments verify that an earthing system meets the resistance limits of IS 3043 (typically 1 Ω for substations, 5 Ω for LPS) at commissioning and during the periodic inspections required by IEC 62305-3 and the CEA Regulations. LPES supplies 3-pole and 4-pole fall-of-potential earth resistance testers, clamp-on earth testers for measuring individual electrodes without disconnection, soil resistivity meters using the Wenner 4-pin method, and the spikes, leads and reels needed on site, for contractors, EHS teams and maintenance departments.
