EV Charging DC SPD

EV fast chargers combine a 415 V AC input with a 200–1000 V DC output stage and sensitive communication electronics, all in an outdoor enclosure. IEC 61851-1 and IEC 62305 call for surge protection on both sides. LPES supplies Type 2 AC SPDs for the charger input and DC SPDs to IEC 61643-31 for the CCS2/CHAdeMO DC output, plus signal SPDs for OCPP/Ethernet links, packaged for DC fast-charging stations, fleet depots, highway charging hubs and AC destination chargers.
